Welcome
to Beatitude House. We serve women and children of Mahoning and Trumbull Counties bound in the cycle of poverty and homelessness. Through our programs, services, counseling, education, love and support, we help them break that cycle.
With the support of our volunteers and generous donors we are able to provide the support and carry out the vision Sister Margaret Scheetz so strongly held. After watching a film, she became inspired to create Beatitude House in 1988 and since then, we have continually grown to serve our community.
The services we offer have a strong focus on education, a principle Sr. Margaret Scheetz valued as the best way to help one’s self. Our programming is continually expanding. We have added ESL classes as a part of our Hispanic Outreach services.
For all the work we do, there are still women and children in the community who are underserved. While operating at maximum capacity we have a waiting list for women and their children in desperate need of our programs.
Take the time to visit our site and read through the many services we offer and the success stories of our women and children. Each story is different, but all came to Beatitude House looking for the same thing…hope.
